Editorial Standards
This site earns a commission on qualifying purchases made through its links. That is disclosed in the footer of every page. It does not change what is published: the sizing verdicts are calculated rather than written, and they say a desk's own numbers where the arithmetic says a desk's own numbers.
Where the figures come from
Desktop width and depth are taken from each listing's own title, cross-checked against the Creators API's assembled-item data where it is available and clearly not a flat-packed shipping box. Adjustable height range is transcribed from each listing's own Product Details section by hand. Nothing here has been tested in a laboratory, and the site does not claim otherwise.
What is computed
The sizing checks are produced by code from each desk's published adjustable height range: the standing limit and the sitting-unassisted floor, and separately the wall or corner a straight or L-shaped desk needs. Nobody writes a figure by hand next to a table that computes one, because a hand-written figure drifts from its table on the first edit.
Framing is chosen; arithmetic is not. Where a dimension has not been confirmed from a listing yet, the table says so rather than showing a guessed number. Figures are never adjusted to reach a friendlier result.
What is deliberately not here
Prices. They change daily; a printed price is wrong within a week.
Ratings and review counts. They belong to the platform that collected them.
Assembly and troubleshooting. The manufacturer's instructions are the authority for a specific unit, and a second set of instructions on a third-party site is a way for someone to get hurt.
Invented measurements. Width, depth, and adjustable height range are transcribed from each listing's own title and Product Details, never estimated or guessed from a similar-looking desk. A dash on a sizing page means that figure is not yet available, not that it is zero.
